Le Village du Bois is an eight-acre complex nestled in the tranquil south Vendée countryside, close to France’s Atlantic coast and some of the country’s most beautiful beaches. This former farm is just a 5-minute drive from the spectacular Plage du Veillon (beach), the historic town of Talmont-St-Hilaire and the Port Bourgenay marina.
With an abundance of natural beauty, culture, gastronomy and activities for all ages within easy reach, Le Village du Bois is an idyllic base for couples, friends and family groups who want to experience the charms of this famously sunny part of the Pays de la Loire region.

Our gîtes are situated on a peaceful, secure and safe 8-acre farm complex with plenty of open space to walk around and play. While the residential, relaxation and recreational areas are car-free, there is ample space for our guests to park their vehicles next to the barn.
Le Village du Bois has four private gîtes, respectively accomodating up to 4, 8, 11 or 16 guests. When availability permits (reserve well in advance!), multiple gîtes can be booked simultaneously to cater for up to 40 people.
