L’Annexe is a part of the original, 200-year old farmhouse with Charentaise stone walls. Internally, it features exposed beams, tiled and/or wood floors throughout and has been renovated and redecorated.

This gîte comprises 3 bedrooms, a well-equipped dining kitchen, a separate lounge with double sofa bed and a private south-facing terrace which looks out over the garden.

ACCESSIBILITY: The upper floor is only reachable by stairs. This gîte is not suitable for wheelchair users.

SMOKING is not permitted. PETS are not permitted.

The minimum booking period is 7 nights.

During peak season (in 2026, Saturday 4 July to Saturday 29 August) we only accept bookings for complete weeks running Saturday to Saturday.

Outside of peak season bookings are also normally Saturday to Saturday, but please contact us if you wish to ask about different stay lengths and changeover days.

A walk through L’Annexe

Entering via the glazed front door takes you directly into the large, well-equipped, open plan dining kitchen in which there is a dining table which seats six people.

At the centre of the gîte is the bathroom area with a power shower and hand-basin. There is a separate toilet on the ground floor.

The very attractive living room at the back (south) of the gîte, with its french oak floor, accommodates a library, sofa bed and the TV/DVD. Leading directly from here, steps take you down to the lovely private south-facing terrace which is edged with rose bushes and gets the sun all day and in the early evening.

Linen, bedding and towels are all supplied on the basis of the number of guests booked.

Sleeping arrangements

The two directly adjacent ground floor bedrooms both sleep two (in a back-to-back double/twin room plus a twin room with two single beds). The double has open and hanger-based storage plus reading lamps and a fan; the twin has comparable open plan storage, reading lamps, a Velux window and a fan.

The superb third bedroom (a large double) is immediately above the living room and is accessed via the exterior stone steps. It enjoys a south-facing outlook over the garden and also features open and hanger-based storage, bedside cabinets and lamps. It has a large en-suite bathroom with hand-basin, WC and large shower.

The sofa bed is in the living room.
